Howdy ya'll!

Ok, so the last journal entry I had up was from the beginning of second semester. I was freaking out because I thought I wouldn't pass any of my subjects - BUT I DID!!!!! BOO YAH!!!

How was everyone's Christmas this year? Mine was great. I had Christmas with my mum for the first time in... 6 years? More? But there were a couple of mishaps:
- I accidentally asked my fashion conscious auntie why she had a dead cat strapped to her back. It was actually her jacket which had a fur collar. But I SWEAR from the angle I was at it looked like two dead cat paws slung over her shoulders!
- I joined in at the end of a conversation where we were talking about the Shannon Noll type of goatee thing. I said they looked like food dribbling from the persons mouth. Then I realized my cousin has one of those goatees... Woops. I wasn't trying to insult him. We didn't talk much after that...
- I sat on a light bulb. It was one of those large coloured Christmas light rope thingos. It was against the rail of the back porch. The bench was against the rail. I leaned against the rail when I sat down, and POP! It broke. I didn't hurt myself but still...

I could mention a few other choice mishaps, but those are my favourites.

My mum has to move because her landlord is a pompous old ass and sold the place around Christmas. It's really hard to find a place around this time of year so... GRRRRR!!!!!

I'm gonna be seeing my lil bros and sis soon when they come to Sydney for their holidays. So, that's good...

Uuuuuuuuuuuum... What else? Oh, I should have a job when I get back to Melbourne - FINALLY! It'ss at a local bakery and the owner practically said she'd give it to me! A friend who used to work there put in a word. I swear, it's not what you know. It's who you know.

And I'm finally starting to do a bit more driving. I really REALLY REEEEEALLY like automatics. I assume as soon as I've got a little more road sense, the manual (the clutch really) won't freak me out quite as much. So whilst I'm here with mama (who has an automatic), I'm getting ins some driving time!

There are other things going on in my life, I'm sure. But I'm in lazy holiday mode and I can't be bothered typing them up (why is it "typing up" and "writing down"???).

Just finished my first week of semester 2 at first year uni.

The days are longer and the classes will probobly be harder - 58% of the people doing one of my classes last year failed. FIFTY EIGHT PER-FRICKIN'-CENT!!!! In another, 40% failed...

So, like I said, probobly gonna be harder.

Anywho, I just got back from a 3 hour session of karate so I'm all ache-y.

And I have a lot of stuff to do...

...

I REALLY am missing some old friends of mine...

Hello all!

Just got my results - BOO YAH!!! 3 Distinctions and 2 credits!!!! I'm so glad I passed everything!!!

I only have one week left of break and I still haven't gotten a job yet - I'm SOOOOOOO lazy!

I feel it is time that I updated my journal...

But I am so busy with uni that I barely have time...

And I think those two lines explain a large portion of my life at the moment.

My little brother is moving to Melbourne to live with me and my Dad!!!!! After he and Andy ran away (for about 10 minutes) he 'talked' with his mum (the evil crone, remember?) and now she's agreed to let him come to live in Melbourne!!!! He's not coming straight away because he wants to spend the first term saying goodbye to his friends and family (and making sure this is what he wants to do yadda yadda yadda...) but I can't WAIT!!!!!!!

I get to be a full time big sister again!!! i'll probobly be complaining about it later but who cares!!! I miss my siblings when they're gone annd this move is going t o be SO GOOD for him because dad's gonna help him with his anger and friends and school issues etc. So it's gonna RULE!!!

P.S. I'm starting to get really optomistic about this whole uni thing. The more I think about this course the more I think that I'm really going to enjoy it! I really want to join some clubs during orientation week and karate will comence again soon - YES!!! I love new beginnings and this will hopefully be the beginning of a fantastic four years - the next strata of my life!
